Hrithik, Priyanka say they are with SRK

A host of Bollywood stars including Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Abhishek Bachchan and director Madhur Bhandarkar have come out in support of co-actor SRK.

Priyanka Chopra, who has worked with SRK in a few films, has spoken out in a column that she writes for a leading daily newspaper.

Hrithik tweeted: "Your name is superest of superstars. Love you. Send me a hug with your shirt on."

Abhishek Bachchan also wrote on his tweet: "Wishing @kjohar25 and @iamsrk and the entire team of MNIK all the best for the release. It's going to be memorable! FULL ON!!!"

Director Madhur Bhandarkar wrote: "My love for you always...I pray people get to see it (My Name Is Khan). What more do we film people want."

Priyanka Chopra in her Column for Ht City wrote: "The film fraternity, Friday's are always fraught with tension... it's the day of release... this Friday, that tension has spread across the industry. My Name is Khan is ready to be presented to the audiences across the world however the one question that will be on everyone's lips is whether it will be allowed to or will the release be hampered by unnecessary violence and strife?

"I hope you all have plans to go out there and catch the film over the weekend in support of a great effort by Shah Rukh, Karan, Kajol and the cast and crew. We have to stand up to for what is right. Furthermore, given the names behind the film, I'm very sure it will be an entertaining and insightful experience."

Theatre owners in Mumbai are yet to take a decision on the film's release.
